In 1964 River Street was a dirt road servicing Rt. 80. Hackensack Auto Spring takes pride in its role in the development of the business community in and around the Hackensack area.
After working and managing in the spring business in NYC and the Bronx for many years, Joe Zillitto felt it was time to open a shop of his own. Joe, along with his son, Frank officially opened for business in 1964 with the two of them manning the shop. They soon realized that they were supplying a much needed service to the area. After only a few years they were hiring and training new mechanics and expanding their shop to meet the demand for the professional repair and customization that Hackensack Auto Spring & Wheel Alignment is known for today.
Nearly 50 years later Hackensack Auto Spring is in its third generation of family owned and operated business. Bryan Zillitto runs the shop with the same care and attention to detail that his grandfather and father brought to the Hackensack area in the 1960's. Expertise, honesty, and courteous service are the cornerstones of Hackensack Auto Spring & Wheel Alignment.
